There is a reason why the banks, hedge funds, and prop shops have all their traders trading in teams, rather than letting them trade alone in isolation. It works better.

From “The trading performance of individual investors” published in The Journal of Finance found that…Trading teams outperformed individual traders in terms of profitability and risk-adjusted returns. The study suggested that collaboration within teams leads to better decision-making and risk management strategies, ultimately enhancing performance.

In “Emotional Support and Feedback: Trading can be a high-pressure and emotionally challenging activity,” from Journal of Applied Finance, found that traders who were part of a supportive team reported lower stress levels and better decision-making compared to isolated traders.

From “The Power of Team Trading: Evidence from Mutual Fund Managers” the Journal of Financial Economics found that Mutual fund managers who were part of a team significantly outperformed their solo counterparts. The team-managed funds exhibited better investment performance and higher risk-adjusted returns compared to individually managed funds.
